As the holiday season looms closer, everyone seems to be asking me what I want. For the past few years, there hasn’t really been anything I absolutely needed. Because I work, I can pay for myself pay for some of the necessities myself. However, there are a few things I’ll be asking Santa for! I hope some of my suggestions can give you an idea of what may want, or some gift suggestions for teenage girls.
Black New Balances:
I love the look of a nice pair of new balances with jeans and a shoe shirt. I found a pair of blue suede 696’s at Marshall’s awhile back, and fell in love! Because I’ve worn them to death, I’ve been looking for a similar style shoe in black. Unfortunately the same style isn’t available in black, but I did find these!
Black Converse:
Working at a restaurant means all black shoes. For a little over a year, I’ve worn the same Nike’s, but they just aren’t cutting it anymore. The white rims got dirty pretty quickly, so I found a pair of cute, black shoes. I really love the sleek style. They remind me of PF Flyers from The Sandlot. I’m a size 9 Santa!
Kendra Scott Necklace:
I always saw bloggers wearing the classic Kendra Scott necklace, and never really saw their appeal. Recently, however, I found a new appreciation for them. They’re so simple, yet gorgeous! It’s a versatile necklace I could see myself wearing every day. The little hexagon is such a sleek style, and they come in a multitude of stones. I have my eye on a gold one with a more neutral stone.
Puffer Jacket:
I really didn’t think about needing a new jacket until I saw this adorable Calvin Klein Jacket my mom was wearing. She looked so stinkin’ cute in it! Having stolen it once or twice, I learned just how warm it was. I realized I really only wear a Pea coat and my North Face. That being said, I found a warm puffer jacket online. I think it’ll look cute, and go with a lot of my winter outfits! I actually think the one I linked is my mom’s in black instead of red.
Blazer:
I love blazers sooo much. They make me feel in control of my life. I was perusing J.Crew’s Website when I found this one on sale! I love the scalloped edges and the relaxed look. It would pair well with jeans or dress pants. I love dressing up, and have to for my internship, so a new blazer or two would be a great addition to my closet.
Slippers:
I was watching Outdaughtered the other day (what a great show!), and I noticed Danielle’s cute christmas slippers. They were lined with fur, and a darling plaid on the outside. I’ve been on the hunt for them ever since, but the closest thing I’ve found is these from J.Crew Factory. As someone who’s cold pretty frequently, these slippers would keep my toes nice and warm.
Overalls:
I know, I know, I have more pairs of overalls than the average human being. I’ve been looking for a pair of dark wash overalls to add to my closet. I want to wear them to school, so they can’t be distressed. I’ve been on the hunt forever, and still can’t find a pair I like. Hopefully, Santa can get my vision! A nice skinny, dark wash would be perfect!
